There seems to be so much 'mandatory fun' with school activities, sports, squadron parties, and kids squadron parties during this time. No one is ever available. Or even if they are, unless it's a close friend, it's not likely they'll commit.
SO, the boys have most of the same friends anyway so I have a combined party.
We lucked out with fantastic weather considering it had rained for three days earlier in the week.
The party was at a park here on base that has a dirt bike track next to it. We had discovered it awhile back and the boys really enjoy going.
It was a very small, easy party with extremely minimal setup and take down. My kind of party.
