Spring Break Days 2 and 3

After Solvang, we ventured to Pismo Beach. We stayed at Pismo Coast Village. It was very "RV Park"ish. It had a lot of amenities (laundry, full hookups, arcade, store, rentals, etc.) but the sites were on concrete and right next to each other. Lucky for us, the beach and bay were a short walk down the road. AND, everything was dog friendly. It was great!

You could rent these little doodads

This ride was Daddy powered only

We found the beach!

Clay insisted on wearing tennis shoes? He would later regret this decision.

Carter found a great group of climbing trees on our way to the beach.

You can tell Vivi was excited!

Hunting for seashells

When Clay realized his terrible mistake

We had cable at PCV!

The next day Carter went straight for the trees

And we took the dogs to the beach. They LOVED IT!

Had we trusted Newman enough to let him off leash he would have been swimming.

Sorting through her loot
After we left PCV, we headed for Big Sur. On the way is the Elephant Seal Rookery. It was SO COLD and WINDY. But we had to get out and see them. It was pretty neat.

Vivi was less than thrilled

Clay can't wait for what's next
